ScannerX is a Chrome extension. This page explains, plainly, what it does and does not do with your data.

Where it runs

ScannerX only runs on x.com and twitter.com. It does not run on, or read, any other site.

What it reads

ScannerX reads the GraphQL JSON responses that X already sends to your own logged-in browser when you use X normally — opening a post, its replies, its reposts, a profile, or a search. It makes no requests to X's API and uses no API key. It never asks for, sees, or stores your X password.

What it does not do

ScannerX performs no automated actions. It cannot follow, reply, repost, or DM on your behalf. It only reads and displays.

What it sends over the network

ScannerX sends no user data, no browsing data, and no X content to any server operated by ScannerX or by anyone else.

The only network request ScannerX makes is to api.polar.sh, to validate a purchased license key. That request contains the license key and an organization identifier. It contains no X data and no personal information.

What it stores

ScannerX stores your license key and its cached validation state locally, using chrome.storage.local. Nothing else is stored. Uninstalling the extension removes it.

CSV exports

CSV exports are generated entirely in your browser and saved by you. They are never uploaded anywhere.
